I have a B.S. and M.S. in electrical engineering, with a course emphasis on electromagnetics and masters research in vacuum electronics (specifically, traveling wave tubes (TWTs)). I have an Extra level amateur radio license (my call sign is KI4STB) from the FCC, and have contacted ham radio operators across North America and Europe on the 20 meter band with my 100 Watt transceiver and a homemade antenna from my former apartment residence in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

I moved to Henniker, New Hampshire in October 2014.
